This notice covers the current version of this website. We use first-party cookies and browser storage to provide sign-in, security, checkout and interface preferences. We do not use optional tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner or advertising preference to accept.
Account cookies
These cookies are set when the account or sign-in flow needs them. They are not used to follow you across websites.
next-auth.session-tokenkeeps you signed in. The cookie has an eight-hour lifetime; the server also enforces an eight-hour session limit. Signing out or revoking a session ends its access. Password resets revoke existing sessions.next-auth.csrf-tokenprotects sign-in requests andnext-auth.callback-urlremembers where to return after authentication. These are browser-session cookies.next-auth.pkce.code_verifier,next-auth.stateandnext-auth.nonceprotect Google sign-in. They expire after 15 minutes and are cleared when the sign-in checks consume them.
On HTTPS, names can start with __Secure- or __Host-. A large session cookie may be split into numbered parts. Authentication cookies are HttpOnly and use SameSite protection.
Theme preference
Choosing light or dark mode saves babel-theme in local storage on your device. It remains until you change the preference or clear the site’s browser data. The initial theme is light; no preference is written until you select one.
Language preference
Choosing a language saves babel-locale in a cookie. The same cookie is set when you follow or close the notice that offers a page in your browser’s language. It holds the language code and lasts one year. The site reads it to show pages in that language.
Checkout continuity
babel-checkout-token is saved in session storage when a quotation or checkout request needs it. This random value keeps your request associated with your browser tab. The token itself holds no billing details and is not used for advertising.
An entry whose name starts with babel-checkout-form is saved in session storage while you fill in the checkout form. It holds what is in the form, including your billing details, the quantity and any discount code, so that reloading the page does not empty the form. The site reads it only to fill the form again, and it is not used for advertising.
Both entries last for the tab’s browsing session; browsers may restore session storage when restoring a closed tab or session.
Administration preferences
For administrators, babel-admin-collapsed remembers whether the navigation sidebar is collapsed. It is written when you change that setting and stays in local storage until changed or cleared.
No analytics or advertising
This website does not load analytics scripts, advertising pixels or marketing trackers. Desktop download statistics are aggregate counters maintained on the server; they do not require a visitor cookie or a tracking script. Google authentication and hosted payment pages open only when you choose the corresponding service; those providers explain their own use of cookies on their sites.
If we introduce optional tracking, we will explain it in this notice and ask for your consent before enabling it.
Managing browser data
Your browser settings let you inspect, block or clear this site’s cookies and storage. Clearing account cookies signs you out; clearing local preferences restores the defaults. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in or checkout from working.
