Babel Obfuscator
In this release, we provide enhanced support for newer platforms and improved user interface features; we’ve made your code obfuscation process even more seamless and efficient.
Enhancements
- Enhanced support for MAUI applications.
- Babel UI has been updated with an input grid that includes Assembly, AssemblyVersion, and FileVersion columns.
- New feature to embed mixed code assemblies.
Changes
- Babel will maintain the assembly name unchanged if the target file is different from the input file.
Bug Fixes
- Fix – Babel UI: In the license template edit, the product is not updated when changing the license template.
- Fix – Babel UI: License site count is not stored inside the license file.
- Fix – Babel UI: The license date edit now uses local time.
Babel Licensing
This version focuses on expanding compatibility, refining client components, and addressing crucial bugs to ensure a smoother licensing experience for both developers and end-users.
Enhancements
- Client components (Babel.Licensing and Babel.Data) now support .NET 8.0-rc1.
- The Babel Licensing Service has been updated to run as a Windows service.
- Introduced the LicenseProviderBundle class, allowing for the combination of multiple license providers.
Changes
- The ClientId in license activation will now be set correctly, even if not specified.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the expiration date check would fail due to time zone differences with the server.
- In Babel UI, editing the license template will now correctly update the product associated with the license template.
- Addressed an issue in Babel UI where the license site count wasn’t being saved in the license file.
- Babel UI’s license date edit will now utilize local time.
